Built to resemble Chartres Cathedral in France, John D. Rockefeller gave significant sums of money and time to this building, which was finally erected in 1931. Martin Luther King Jr. preached here, and Nelson Mandela spoke here, as did other ministerial luminaries. The carillon is the second largest in the world. Hours: Daily 7am-midnight
