Description

Revel, the new place in Fremont is the food-baby of culinary power couple Rachel Yang and Seif Chichri. They already have a loyal following due to three years of running Joule. Their approach to food at both Joule and Revel is pretty darned novel: Asian comfort dishes -- noodle pancakes and rice bowls, duck balls... yes, duck balls -- with classic French twists. The sweet new spot in Fremont is the more casual incarnation of its big sister.

    I ate at Revel on the recommendation of the staff at Delancy Pizza and they were so right on! The food was delicious and artfully prepared. We sat at the bar in order to enjoy the open kitchen. It made for an interesting meal - and a great place for a first date.

    I've been with my mother and she loved it too!
