One of three very successful Tim Mallett-run restaurants, Remy's (named for his kid, not the Cognac) emphasizes wines by offering "flight" tastings of three different glasses to go with Mediterranean-themed meals of tapas-style "small plates" or standard-entrée "large plates." The complimentary black-olive tapenade served with bread is a real treat.

There are wine bars, and then there are wine bars; some austere, some brash, others outright dull. Want some fun? Remy's, a free spirit of the species, debunks the theory that serving the nectar of the gods is an inherently haughty business. Remy's offers more than 40 different wines by the glass and an impressive array of bottles from around the globe, demonstrating a good taste for the stuff. You can also indulge in flights: three small glasses of similar wines, selected to build on and... More »
Cleanliness is a given in washrooms, or it should be. When it comes to the complete bathroom experience in hygiene and ambience, try the ladies' room at Remy's. Counters are clean, and the hand lotion flows. Although the stalls... More »
