Description

In the categories of atmosphere, service and food (elements that can make or un-make a dining experience) Reikyu gets top honors. Planted among the urban bustle of Mockingbird Station, Reikyu's dark and cozy, second-level dining room offers a view rife with people-watching opportunities. And with a two-sided menu for the sushi alone, the friendly and helpful service keeps the ordering experience from being intimidating. More detailed descriptions of menu options helped us make some excellent choices--either that, or everything is top-notch. While appetizers and entrées are good, Reikyu's sushi really stands out. From the spider roll to the yellowtail, not one bite disappoints.

Getting full at Reikyu is fun but not cheap. That is, unless you try the bento box. For about a sawbuck, you get shrimp tempura, a California roll, sautéed beef or chicken,... More »
