Though this Tex Mex restaurant and bar, located just half a block from Deerfield Beach, serves Southwestern cuisine, the décor of mounted fish and fishing photographs suggests a fascination with the nearby ocean. Rattlesnake Jake's is divided in half, with the restaurant on one side and a small bar, bustling with friendly local fellows, on the other. The bar serves a variety of imports and domestics such as Sierra Nevada, Yeungling, Fosters, Blue Moon, Samuel Adams Boston Lager, and Pabst Blue Ribbon on draft. During the weekday happy hour, from 3 to 7 p.m., select domestic drafts are $1, domestic bottles are $2.50, and import bottles are $4. Rattlesnake closes at 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and at 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
