Description
Born in Denver in the early 1980s, this chain reinvented the submarine sandwich by toasting it—a technique that probably would only be considered revolutionary in the world of fast food. More recently, Quiznos has grafted on a new line of seafood-centric menu items, headed by the Lobster and Seafood Salad Club sandwich. (Not content to just compete with Subway sandwich shops, Quiznos launched this item with a campaign featuring a quadrangle of live lobsters fitted with webcams who wandered the ocean floor while the lobster-eating public watched them on Quiznos' website.) The sandwich is joined by Quiznos staples like the Prime Rib and Garlic Bread Sandwich and the Honey Bourbon Chicken Sub, which Broward / Palm Beach sandwich seekers can locate with ease on Voice Places.
