Q Bar makes sure you start off your week right: Mondays offer $1 well drinks and a veritable sweaty dance party. The fun doesn't stop there - Tuesday is ladies night, and then Juanita More hosts Booty Call Wednesdays. For those who appreciate the classics (that is, if you think '80s music represents the classics), there's Throwback Thursdays. The weekend is devoted to gay themes (this is a Castro bar, after all), which are cleverly named Frigay, Saturgay, and Sungay. The dance floor is crowded and the bathroom is even more crowded, so pace yourself. Also, leave the credit cards at home - the bar is cash only.

MY favorite nights for QBAR are Mondays and Tuesdays! Monday nights one of SF's HOTTEST dj's Richie Panic takes over the dance floor behind those turn tables for $1 drink night Tuesday night Natalie Nuxxx throws it down for an extremely hot girl party. If you aren't a VIP make sure you arrive early because this place gets PACKED with some of the bay areas hottest girls. Dana is a FABULOUS bar manager and be sure to harass SF Famous Aysha the bartender and night life promoter on ladies night TUESDAYS tell her Sashy Richmond sent you and tell her to make you whatever she wants... she is an excellent mixologist... make sure to order the bubbly as well!
