With six TVs above the bar playing every sports station there is, including ESPN, ESPNU, NHL Network and NFL Network, Q Bar gives its customers their pick of sports. The roomy Katy watering hole's abundance of specials includes $1.50 wells and domestic pints from 7-11 p.m. Saturdays and Wednesdays, or $5 shot specials and $3 "big-ass beers" (25 ounces of suds) after 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday. Besides all those games, there's karaoke every Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, periodic battles of the bands, and a monthly theme party. Past events have been based around a masquerade ball and the ever-popular bikinis and lingerie, but check the bar's Facebook page for specifics.
