  I had the same opinion as most about it being a large mega-church that was likely out of touch with it's surrounding community. That was all before I stepped inside Prestonwood; not only is this church an amazingly large community of quality, caring individuals that want to grow closer in their faith, but the community has a place for everyone. In my twnties, I often have struggled over the last decade to find my place in ANY church anywhere. Most churches don't cater AT ALL to the 20-something, living on their own, living with another, working or college individuals. However, Prestonwood is constantly striving to make sure there is literally something for everyone. Within a couple weeks of visiting the first time, I'd had a visit to my home, a call with recommendations of classes and studies that actually suited my needs, was practicing with the Orchestra and thinking about signing up for co-ed sports. My fiance and I are now even enrolled in a pre-marriage intense counseling and will soon have a mentor couple to look after us. How much more plugged in can you get to a church family??
