Event Review: Outside Providence
This is an innovative new way to do live theatre. As opposed to a dark space with the action elevated and played behind a 'fourth wall,' this incarnation is in very close quarters. The three one acts within the play are dark, and personal views into the lives of the characters. Every moment of it is engaging and believable, and the close proximity really makes you feel like a fly on the wall.
Additionally, the acting is phenomenal! I was moved to tears during the first scene and was on the edge of my seat for the entirety of the show. I HIGHLY recommend this show.
