Now he's not just a barista - he's the store's owner, with an eye toward doing coffee better than slam-packed competitors on the Hill. The minimalist space has a friendly vibe, serving beans sourced from Herkimer Coffee on Phinney Ridge. There is space to work (with free wi-fi) or socialize, and the primary drawing card of the place is Bolotin himself, the operation's cute, funny and outgoing frontman, barista and head dishwasher.
