Description

Poquitos has positioned itself as a Mexican party, complete with a Latin-leaning cocktail list and a Mariachi band. And while the jalapeno-infused tequilas and spiked horchatas may satisfy the revelers who show up in their bachelorette party hats, serious diners will be relieved to discover a smart, well-executed menu of classic Mexican dishes. The carne asada and chipotle prawns are especially good, and the entire appetizer section is strong. Desserts disappoint, though, so consider making a final course of that liquored-up horchata.
