If you hear music in the West Village after last call, it’s probably coming from Pop Diner. The 24-hour, ultra-casual restaurant takes your standard diner fare and serves it up in a throwback dining room that tries to take you back to the ’80s. There’s karaoke on Thursdays and TVs display old-school music videos for the entire dining room. The food is on par with common diner fare, with burgers, hot dogs and other sandwiches served alongside crazy concoctions like french fries turned into nachos and a fritatta that seems to fold an entire walk-in refrigerator’s worth of ingredients into an omelet. Eat with caution.
