Though the menu of Plattduetsche Park Restaraunt in Franklin Square may not be extensive, it is served with it a history of heritage and fellowship, and beers larger than your head. The beer garden is best suited for summer, which begins their monthly pig roasts. Plus, find a bandshell in the outdoor area, along with a big yard that hosts fairs and shops during the warmer months, making it a great destination for the entire family. Many patrons boast of the pretzel platter and suggest returning on Thursday nights for the weekly buffet that offers schnitzel, goulash, and potato pancakes.
