The Ranch is encroaching on the metro. Pizza Ranch, long limiting itself to small towns, now has a single metro location in Lakeville. With décor befitting its name--wagon wheels, rustic themes, and the like--the family restaurant presents a generally wholesale air. While the primary fare is their heavily-topped pizzas, the restaurant also boasts a varied lunchtime buffet with fried chicken, mashed potatoes, potato wedges, and vegetables. In other words, Pizza Ranch serves the mission to make sure their guests leave with belly full, posture slumped, and children dozing in their car seats. Of note from the buffet line is the taco pizza and the desert pizza, dubbed "Cactus Bread."
