It's hard to find good hummus. Just the right amount of Tahini, not too much lemon, an appropriate quantity of garlic. Lots of places get it wrong. But Pita Hut Israeli Restaurant & Grill gets it right. And in addition to some perfectly piquant hummus ($6.99), this Israeli/Mediterranean haunt serves up some fabulous falafel ($7.99 in a pita), too. The Miami Beach branch of this mini-chain also has other kosher faves, like shawarma sammies ($9.99), chicken shish kabob ($19.99) and in an interesting twist, sushi. Vegetarians can get stoked about babaganoush, stuffed grape leaves and mushroom salad.
