Located in Delray Beach's burgeoning downtown Pineapple Grove area is the music venue Pineapple Groove. Just east of the train tracks on Third Avenue, an immense marquee lights up the sky and music vibrates through the front doors, making the 8,000-square-foot club impossible to miss. Inside, two huge bars stand tall on each side of the dance floor, photographs of musical legends adorn the exposed brick walls, and a center stage is home to the nightly musical acts. Laser lights dance above the crowd of hip 20-somethings gyrating to the bass-pumping sounds, and enormous video screens project the Pineapple Groove name in various fonts and graphics. The high-octane atmosphere and top-shelf liquor selection certainly make it difficult to ignore the venue's motto of "no bad vibes allowed."
