Description

Chef Blanca Rodriguez, a veteran of Nordstrom department store kitchens, has transcended the strip mall setting of Pimienta Bistro with her artful, Latin-accented food. The menu is mostly what was once called Continental, but the delicious dishes are arranged with an aesthetic sense that patrons don't always associate with restaurants focusing on steak, fish, pork and chicken -- or restaurants which share their parking lots with a car wash.

    I love everything about Pimienta! Going there, we are always impressed with the delicious menu and special menu items. Their drinks are unique creations that are flavorful and their wines are impressive and pair well with the food. There is no other restaurant in the NE Tacoma neighborhood that can beat Pimienta for fine dining as well as a casual snack or meal. You will love the staff! If you have not tried them out yet, make sure you do!
