Description

Pike Place Chowder draws crowds with its extensive lineup of hearty soups. The New England-style is made with ocean clams, which are known for their tenderness. The smoked salmon chowder is so pretty and pink. Cooks scour the Pike Place Market for what's freshest to create the Market Chowder. There's even a vegan variation -- called The Lime and the Coconut -- and a Southwest Chicken Chowder for those customers who'd rather not eat seafood. Beyond the liquid meals, Pike Place Chowder has become known for its take on the famous East Coast lobster rolls stuffed with Dungeness crab, salmon, Oregon bay shrimp or curried chicken salad. The Pacific Place mall location also offers fish and chips, seafood mac-and-cheese, and fish tacos.
