Description

The name of the place states its purpose, but this honesty is offset by the fact that P&P's pies are only so-so. The underspiced curry pie and predictable burgundy beef pie do little to combat the stereotype of bland British vittles; still, a post-pie slice of Guinness chocolate cake with Bailey's Irish Cream sweetens the pot considerably. Service is friendly and chatty, atmosphere is warm, and kids abound despite the proximity of pints-the comfy 21-and-over bar area is in back, and fills up fast on weekends.

Great pot pies and good beer in a mellow setting. My favorite thing to order is the soft pretzels. They also have live bluegrass and jazz twice a week. This is a great place to spend some time with a good friend.
