Description

Pierce Street Annex. A fish out of water in the SoCal Scene. While trendy clubs and lounges have come and gone, this spacious sports bar has stood for decades, holding fast to its identity as an unpretentious community hangout. This place is by no means a place for glitz and glam. BUT--if you want to fry your own bratwurst on the outside grill, shoot some pool, or perhaps shake a leg with some indigenous OC folk to top 40 on an ancient dance floor, you're in the right place. Random feature: offers free WiFi!

Attention potential patrons of Pierce Street Annex, if you'd like to give this place a try, there are Pierce Street discount cards available to you at a couple nearby locations. These cards are coupons for 20% off your bar tab for you, and all your friends included on your tab. Just stop into Dippity Donuts at 1854 Newport Blvd. across from Triangle Square and pick up a card . There are also cards available at 7-11 on the corner of Orange and 17th street, just a couple blocks from this awesome bar. Try the bar, save 20% on your tab, and hopefully you'll fall in love with it and we'll be lifelong friends :)

Mostly Costa Mesa locals frequent this bar. Can be fun, but is pretty divey.

Busy place on the weekends. Decent beer/drink selection.
