The Piatti chain was founded in Napa Valley in 1987 -- in the cradle of the revolution and in a good year for revolutionaries. Chef Mario Godoy's talented hand and creative eye are used to great effect in the kitchen, and he packs his ever-changing menus with local produce, meats and cheeses.
