The Central West End outlet of pizza powerhouse Pi offers a slightly more upscale setting with dimmer lighting and a classy vibe. Similar to its sister sites, this location's menu lets the diner choose between thin or deep-dish crust pizzas with a large array of toppings including fontina cheese or fresh basil, or try the namesake pizza, the Central West End, which includes mozzarella, Volpi prosciutto, goat cheese, cherry tomatoes, red onions and arugula. Gluten-free crust, vegan meat substitutes and vegan cheese are also available on all pies.

With Pi Pizzeria, at least, your worries are unfounded. The local chain now has four sit-down restaurants -- including its newest location in the Mercantile Exchange building... More »
In recent years Pi pizzerias have taken over St. Louis, not only because of their cornmeal crusts and tasty toppings, but because of the specialized nature of each location. Pi's bar opens at 11 a.m.; happy hour starts at 11 a.m. The specials continue until 6 p.m. and include discounts on Schlafly draft beers (appropriately priced at $3.14), house wines and... More »
