Phoenix New Times' Description
There's nothing more authentically Scottish than framed photos of Fat Bastard from the Austin Powers films and girls in plaid push-up bras and mini skirts. Tellingly, at Tilted Kilt, located downtown in the CitySpape plaza, the focus is less on real Scottish fare than on American standards like Bud Light and French fries. The spot features an extensive beer menu, and cheekily dressed bartenders who playfully flirt with the male patrons, but don't worry ladies --there's a slice of beefcake in it for you, too. Kilt fetishists bask in man-skirt glory as sport events splash across the bar's dozens of flat screens. Misters and fans keep views of U.S. Airways Center and downtown cool during hot summer months on the outdoor smoking patio, just a couple blocks from concerts and sports events taking place at the arena.
