Phoenix New Times' Description

The only thing we don't love about this amazing getaway is that it is closed during the summer, when we most want its comforting cool ambiance and tasty lunches. Its pecan tree grove provides canopies of shaded, outdoor dining; its acres of green grass lets out onto organic gardens and is home to three separate restaurants(one each for breakfast, lunch, and dinner),an art gallery, and a gift shop we can never resist. First, though, we dine on some of the fresh homegrown food (Pecan Turkey Waldorf Salad is prefect for lunch from the Farm Kitchen; the Cavatappi from Quiessence, the dinner restaurant, is a great suppertime meal) around. this verdant escape is only minutes from downtown Phoenix, but we'd gladly drive for an hour to get to it!

This place is great! Food is outstanding but bring a big appetite or be ready to share as the portions are abundant. Be sure to save room for their fantastic desserts.
    Love their Bread Pudding!

Visit the the culinary gem of The Farm, Quiessence Restaurant. Treat yourself to Chef LaPrad's hyper-local fare w/ housemade pasta, breads and cured meats. #1 in Arizona, 3 years in a row!

They have the most delicious sandwiches for lunch. Grab a cookie after lunch!

A true oasis - an amazing farm in the heart of the city. Wonderful food and a beautiful landscape.

Love The Farm and its restaurants. I'm especially proud that it's in South Phoenix and that it's owned and operated but South Phoenix residents.

Take your time and enjoy your lunch on the outdoor picnic tables or get your farm goods to go. Either way you're about to spoil yourself!
