Description

Phoenix New Times' Description

Don't judge a book by its cover. The understated exterior hardly does justice to everything that goes on inside, including swing dancing, boxing, and shopping. As far as the drinking goes, The Duce has an impressive selection of old school cocktails as well as few specialties you won't find anywhere else. The vintage trailer serves up some great comfort foods, including pot pies and sliders. The Duce offers ping-pong, shuffleboard, corn hole and foosball, so it's practically like you can get a work out while you drink. After all, it is part gym.

Walking into a restaurant and running into a boxing ring is a little strange, but it seems par for the course at Duce. This place has a little bit of everything. Boutique style clothing stores, home made pies and some pretty decent food. Stepped out of the warehouse to the courtyard and ordered the slider sampler for lunch ($8). Comes with 3 sliders and was pretty filling. Rusty... More >>

You can feel the history just oozing from it, as you sip a Cuba Libre and lean into its smooth wooden surfaces. It's oddly glamorous.--NewTimes Food Critic

Great new mixed use destination in downtown Phoenix with restaurant, full bar, coffee bar, soda fountin, gym and vintage clothing store.

The Duce's fresh-squeezed margarita is one of the most refreshing cocktails we've ever had.

  • Bust a gut as comedians compete to be "Top Comic" 8 p.m. Sept. 16 at a fundraiser for a Phx nonprofit founded by an ASU alumna. Ticket proceeds benefit college scholarships for artistic young women.
