Description

Phoenix New Times' Description

It may be located in a quiet Chandler strip mall, but Teakwood's isn't your run-of-the-mill sports bar. The cozy, casual atmosphere with tons o' flat screens make it an ideal spot to watch the game. Sounds good, right? It's also a great place to make a mess. Buckets of peanuts grace each table, and they really seem to want you to throw the shells directly on the ground. Go ahead, someone else will clean it up, just like at the stadium. The extensive menu of bar food leans toward such Midwestern classics as cheese curds and meatloaf, which make hearty alternatives to their award-winning wings. Drink specials every night of the week and pitchers of ice cold beer make Teakwood's a local favorite.

Merchant's Description

Located at Ray and Kyrene, behind Walgreens, is our oldest and most unique location. With random objects filling the rafters, chalk boards with our daily specials and of course the huge moose mounted on the wall, this comfortable and welcoming neighborhood bar/restaurant is great for enjoying lunch with co-workers, dinner with the family, or late night drinks with friends. Our Chandler location provides it all, with a welcoming atmosphere and HD flat screens surrounding the dining room it is the best place to catch all your favorite sports. We also have a side room with games that is great for families, private parties and large events.

CatCalls2010 Teakwoods is Still Wonderful Stopped in yesterday to catch the game. Excellent service by gorgeous staff (albeit painfully young...although, these days they're all looking mighty youthful) , long pours, interesting customers, wall-to-wall TVs tuned to the relevant channels (most of the TVs were on the baseball game but not all...a nice touch and something to watch... Scott and Cherie are the owners and hired me to work for them when they opened, this is the first teakwoods tavern they opened up after they sold Long Wongs on Mill ave. They have great chicken wings and they are the cheapest during happy hour. They have a great atmosphere and the employees are always friendly. Love this place!

Best suicide wings around. Spicy without sacrificing the flavor.
