Tapas Papa Frita
Scottsdale, AZ 85251
Phoenix New Times's Description
Hang at the bar or settle into a table in this brash, colorful eatery, where live musicians and flamenco dancers bring vibrant energy to the room. Fifty kinds of cold and hot tapas dishes, as well as traditional Spanish entrées, will give you plenty to nosh on (we're fans of the lamb skewers, the tortilla de patatas, and stuffed squid in a lusty tomato sauce made with its own ink), while three kinds of sangria and an extensive Spanish wine list add to the festive mood.
Tips from foursquare
The Paella (all of them) are amazing!!!! Also check out their 7-10 $1 sangrias.... Best deal in town!!! Kevin the bartender rocks!
Try the crema catalana for dessert.
They currently have a 2-4-1 Happy Hour 7 Days a week from 5-7pm Which includes all drinks , bottle wine, Tapas and Entrees!!!
live music and flamenco dancing on Friday
Off menu but if you ask for pimientos de padron (hot Spanish peppers) they home grow them and serve sautéed in olive oil and salt. Also Jamon Iberico is about as good as it gets outside of Spain
