Salut Kitchen Bar
Tempe, AZ 85281
Phoenix New Times's Description
This easygoing wine bar, about ten miles away from Mill Avenue, is a comfortable place to escape Tempe’s more chaotic main drag. But although its selection of over fifty kinds of Old and New World wines, as well as craft brews and cocktails, satisfies, its offerings in the way of familiar American and Mediterranean-inspired eats --- think bruschetta, bar snacks, sandwiches, salads, and a few entrees -- fall a step or two behind. Best bets include shared plates of fries topped with Parmesan and feta cheese, mildly spicy and sweet red peppers stuffed with goat cheese, and pita chip “nachos” topped with hummus. Still hungry? Order up the signature Salut burger.
Tips from foursquare
During happy hour, you can get an extra 20% off your meal if you tell the bartender to "Feel my left breast" then *wink*. They'll know what you're talking about.
The moscow mule comes in the right cup. A welcome change.
Happy hour from 3-7 endless mimosas on Sundays for 18 bucks everything on this menu is great from the mushroom ravioli to the salmon and I don't even like seafood and I think it's great
