Description

Phoenix New Times' Description

Rustic-chic setting featuring paintings of cowboys, roughhewn chairs, and the occasional stuffed jackalope. Service is friendly, and generally faultless. Excellent wine list is a draw, as is a menu of gourmet comfort fare featuring fresh local ingredients culled daily from the area's farmers' markets. The grilled squid salad and the ricotta gnocchi are signature appetizers. Signature entrees include the homemade pastas and "Nonni's Sunday chicken." The restaurant closes on Sundays and Mondays during the non-snowbird season, so be sure to call ahead.

The Shave Fennel and Pink Grapefruit Salad is one of the best salads in town!

Some of the finest drinks in the state. Sample Travis Nass' amazing concoctions.

You'll always find a handful of gorgeous salads (Tuscan kale being one of many favorites), grilled quail and Nonni's Sunday Chicken, a comfort food dish that comes straight from her grandma.

Fabulous, and has been for years.

There's something irresistible about the bar, situated near the front door & conducive to people-watching. It's the place regulars gravitate to, hoping for a brief chat w/ chef-owner Chrysa Robertson.
