Description

Phoenix New Times' Description

It's for tourists, but this landmark cowboy steak house is no trap. Have your kids deputized by the "Old Timer," get your picture taken in Western duds and enjoy the country-western band. Then settle in for excellent, mesquite-grilled steaks. The two-pound porterhouse and New York strip are the best options. Cheesecake and apple pie are effective desserts.

Pinnacle Peak Patio is awesome! Not only do they have rattlesnakes, they have a no tie policy. Just look around. If you wear a tie in there, they will grab it, and cut it off! The steaks are really good, too. A little pricey... but delicious. Plus, there are some great views up there by Pinnacle Peak. If you are looking for an authentic Western steak dinner, give this place a... More >>

Pinnacle Peak Steakhouse has been around since dirt. They cut your tie off and staple it to the ceiling, to loosen you up, there are millions of them. They basically do steaks beans salad and baked potatoes. There is a bar, and they have cold pitchers of beer. They have an aquarium with rattle snakes in it for your amusement. This is where my mother in law always likes to go when... More >>

Although it's quite the drive for us East Mesa residents, its absolutely worth it, especially if you make a day of it. It's a cool little western looking place, complete with picnic tables & gingham tablecloths. The enormous patio has a lot of cool decor and a little faux old west town to add to the feel of the place. Best thing on the menu - BBQ burger!! But the real treat is... More >>

2011 marks Pinnacle Peak Patio's 54th year in business. Over 1 million ties have been cut and over 3 million pounds of beef have been served since its opening in 1957.

The BBQ burger is delicious, but the main reason I come here is for the White Chocolate Beer - if you haven't tasted it, you haven't lived.

Fantastic food, great AZ atmosphere, and good ol' country service. It's an annual stop for us.
