When Eliot Wexler set out to open a world-class restaurant in Phoenix, the guy didn't fool around. The Chicago transplant talked his way into Kevin Binkley's kitchen for tips on searing foie gras, got Nobuo Fukuda to share his Japanese fish supply connections, and hooked up with the best organic produce suppliers in town.

Read Full ReviewWe order donuts from here for our biweekly meetings. They are a great hit. There is nothing special about their glazed or twist donuts, but some of their other donuts are great. The Old Fashioned and the Buttermilk donuts are a pretty good hit, and the Boston Cream and Jelly filled go pretty fast too. Prices are pretty reasonable, about $8 + tax for a dozen donuts.
