  • There is something almost aristocratic about sitting down for a multi-course meal. There’s the elegance, the fine food (of course), and the lively banter that flows in such settings. If such delights are missing from your microwavable munchies, then check out the esprit de fare at the Grown Up’s Table. This weekly event at Beckett’s Table features three courses plus wine...

  • Plenty of things will be going bump in the night this weekend inside the Valley's bars and clubs, as local DJs and turntablists host hyped-up Halloween parties aplenty over the next few nights. A variety of EDM all-stars are scheduled to make appearances, and we ain't referring to a certain dubstep freak's sold-out tour stop at the Marquee. For instance, former graf artist and current...

My wife and I had a 3 course NYE dinner here. The service was excellent. The food, amazing. We had probably the best scallops we have ever had in Arizona. The lentil and sausage soup was also wonderful. Combined with some very unique cocktails, it was a great date night! We plan on returning on a regular evening to explore the traditional menu a bit.

LA Weekly's Besha Rodell recently wrote: "Mac-n-cheese is good because it's simple, slutty food that doesn't need stupid ingredients like lobster thrown in to make it better. In fact, lobster ruins mac-n-cheese completely. But I'll go farther than that and say that I don't want anything in my mac-n-cheese except, you know, pasta and cheesy...

The Vig Uptown has a great vibe to it. Just went for a low-key birthday celebration on a Sunday night, and it was perfect. The food variety on the menu meant there was something to make everyone in our big group happy, and after we were done eating it was nice to hang out, drink some beers, and play bocce ball and bean bag toss on the indoor/outdoor patio. I've...
