  • We pass through doors both literal and figurative every day, but fail to stop and appreciate their beauty more often than not. Photographer Nicole Dunlap set out to explore neighborhoods around the world through a study of doors. The first exhibition of her planned photo series, “Doors of Hermosillo,” wanders through various blocks in Hermosillo, the capital of Sonora in...

  • If you have plans to check out Mad One's annual sticker show, you'll want to bring a bag -- and a few of your own stickers to trade.

Mike "Mad One" Neely moved from Phoenix to Portland last year, but promised to return for "Sticker Phiends," a staple in the Tempe street-art scene for the past four years.

  • This is an average sandwich:

It is called a Gruyère Ham Stack. Classified as a hot sandwich, in this case, it is merely warm. Yummy, rich, smooth coffee. The cafe americano is fab, both hot and iced. The shop is cozy and the people are friendly -- both those who work there, and those who hang out there. If I lived any closer than I already do, I'd probably go every day.
