Phoenix New Times's Description
This hidden gem of Bosnian food tucked into an aging strip mall on the cityâs west side comes courtesy of Bosnian-born owner and chef Seida Turulja, who makes some of the best lepinja (housemade Bosnian bread) in the Valley. Featuring a small and affordable selection of some of the countryâs favorites (nothing on the menu is over nine dollars) served up in sizable portions; donât miss popular dishes like cevapi (grilled Bosnian kebabs), warm and pillow-y stuffed pitas, and the comforting Bosnian meat stew called Bosanski lonac. The welcoming interior, done to resemble the Bascarsija, the old town market sector where the city was founded, even boasts a working replica of the townâs famous fountain, Sebilj, in the center of the room.

Even when I'm short on cash, I can squeeze in some money for a small order of cevapi; which is most times enough to fill... More >>

Tips from foursquare
What a rare find! I loved everything about this place...from its quaint, European decor to their wonderful, authentic (and cheap!) Bosnian food. Try the Vilikeli (sausage sandwich)!
The spicy beef sausage sandwich was amazing. And then I almost had an entire serving of the spinach pastry/pita.
A hidden gem of a restaurant! Food is delicious and inexpensive! Try all the good! Insides look like Bosnia. Been here a number if times. You won't be disappointed!
Better cevapi than euro bakery!
