Do you enjoy a bit of culinary torment now and then? If so, you should pay a visit some evening to Amuse Bouche in Surprise. Depending where you live, you will drive 45 minutes or more for some of the best French bistro food in the Valley.

But the journey is not without its speed bumps.

Iced americano was quick, delicious, and didn't water down, and I was pleased to be greeted at the door by a fluffy friend - someone's dog. Both made me decide that next time I work from home, I'm actually going to work from Jobots with my puppy in tow.
