Phoenix New Times' Description

Trendy, neo-boho watering hole/cafe that pulses with energy, and remains one of the most reliable late-night dining spots in town. When the rest of Scottsdale is yawning and rolling up the sidewalks, AZ 88 is going strong like a stud bull on Viagra. God bless 'em. Edibles are mainly salads, burgers and sammies - nothing amazing, but there are some solid noshes to be had. For finger food, we dig the galettes, these little flatbread pizza thingees, and the Buffalo-style chicken salad with blue cheese and hot sauce goes well with a glass of Bass Ale. Check out the mirrored stalls in the restrooms: Guaranteed to trip you out.

    If someone asks where to get a good martini, I point them to AZ88. They seem to have endless options for every tastebud. I love the key lime martini, but have tried multiple others that were delicious as well. If you want casual food served in a posh atmosphere, you'll love AZ88.

    Know that the drinks AND the food are large. Hip bar/restaurant with a nice view of the park next to art museum.

    Ever-evolving decor, modern and hip. large portions, reasonably priced. Try their ginger/cucumber infused pimms cup and walk through the civic center park to the waterfalls & LOVE statue
