Tips from foursquare

  • NASA on 01/11/11

In 2010, NASA awarded the museum a 3 year grant to expand the educational programming for the Earth Camp Experience. The camp was established in memory of Columbia Space Shuttle Astronaut Laura Clark.

  • John M. on 12/03/09

A remarkable place for visitors and people moving to Tucson. Not a Museum, not an arboretum, not a zoo, but all three and much more. Great for a date or a day by yourself.

  • Inland K. on 09/23/11

Great place to learn about the different kinds of deserts. Best to go in the morning or the afternoon.

  • Safelite AutoGlass on 02/27/13

Great road trip stop: pack a picnic lunch to enjoy the outdoors at this combo zoo/garden/art gallery/natural history museum!

  • Allison on 01/30/12

Sunscreen dispensers in the bathroom, just in case you forgot yours (like I did....)
