This is one of the top rated museums in Arizona. Unfortunately, the Governor is trying to eliminate it because she wants to use the building for a 5C Centennial exhibit. This will be very damaging to K-12 science education. Parents and teachers should call the governors office expressing concern. Dick Zimmermann 480 456 1010

The Arizona Mining and Mineral Museum can trace its origin back to the first Arizona Fair, held in November of 1884! The collection, already one of the finest in the world and has been growing.
