Admittedly I stay rarely in hotels (I generally coach surf or go to a hostel) and it is even more rare that I stay in a hotel in my hometown but if I am going to do it, I like to do it here. Also, a perfect place to honeymoon if you get married at City Hall, which is just down the street.
This is as close to LA as you can get in SF, especially when they have summer Sunday pool parties. Don't stay here if you want a quiet evening.
