Dung Anh Le opened Pho Lee in Greenwood Village in 2012, bringing authentic Vietnamese cuisine to the Denver suburb. The restaurant space may be small, but the food is always fresh and the staff friendly and helpful. Dung had worked at the original Pho 95 with his brother before deciding to open his own restaurant; the menu at Pho Lee includes noodle bowls and noodle soups, as well as Thai dishes that complement the traditional Vietnamese fare. Even the most ardent pho-natic might want to share a plate of grilled meats, which come with rice or noodles and offer a nice contract to the raw meats often found in the soup. The Vietnamese egg rolls are another must-order. And to end your meal – or start it, if you believe in dessert first – go for an avocado smoothie.
