Phinney Market Pub & Eatery owners Caleb and Jaimee Papineau have crafted a bustling neighborhood joint that magically works for parents, children, and kid-free diners and hits the right "something for everybody" vibe as one part tasty food, one part play area, one part bar. Food is seasonal, and—while not pitch perfect—thoughtfully constructed. Salads may be a touch overdressed, appetizers may be brought at the same time as entrees, but the menu is reasonably priced. The quinoa stuffed portabello is extraordinarily flavorful and hearty; the Painted Hills beef burger is juicy and satisfying, and the crispy sweet potato fries are transformed with a dusting of fresh parsley. Weekend brunch is a best bet.
