Description

The place may be Phil's, but the kitchen belongs to his mother, Junie, long the cook at the late, lamented Bamboo Hut. From early in the morning until late in the afternoon, Junie cooks up terrific breakfast burritos, enchiladas, huevos rancheros and Mexican hamburgers, smothering them in a classic Colorado green chile. The setting is classic dive, filled with sports memorabilia and friendly neighbors who knocked off work early -- and plan to stay here late.
