This tucked away Eastlake wine shop offers more than just vino; the deli in the back makes a mean sandwich. Grab an order slip and check off what you'd like. The staff's a little persnickety about the process, so be sure and use one slip for every sandwich. Put your name at the top and the sandwich artist will holler when it's put together. Beyond the standard stuff you'd expect to find between two pieces of bread, there's some standouts: The Pete's Club is a colossal classic, a real jaw-tester stacked with turkey, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and Jarlsberg cheese. They also make a killer egg salad and a meatloaf sandwich that'll remind you to call your Mom and get her famous recipe for that dish so you can have leftovers and make a meatloaf sandwich as good as Pete's.
