Pennison's (Sugar Land)

Description

Due to a grandfather clause in Sugar Land's no-bar law, Pennison's is literally the only establishment within the city limits just serving booze and not pushing its kitchen bites to satisfy the state-stipulated 51/49 sales ratio. Owned by former Houston Oiler Jay Pennison, the small and often smoky bar has a line of televisions overhead, pool tables, beer pong, and poker nights to keep the regulars coming back. In addition to pint after pint after pint coming from behind the counter, Pennison's also offers cigars.
