Description

With a three-decade history of smoking meat, Pecos Pit is one of the city's most successful barbecue joints -- a distinction which speaks to Seattleites' fondness for sauce. The sandwiches here are astonishingly sloppy. It makes no difference whether you order pork or beef, since you're bound to taste nothing but sauce (which isn't quite as hot as the counter staffer say.) There isn't much in the way of sides at Pecos Pit, but there's no shortage of sauce.
