Description

Paul's Cocktails, located near the Orange traffic circle, opens at 6 a.m.--perhaps so nearby Chapman University students can have a drink to take the edge off when cramming for finals. There is no happy hour at Paul's, but drinks are fairly cheap, with most draft beers starting at less than $4. The full bar hosts a dozen draft beers, as well as a wide array of bottled and canned brews. Paul's also offers an outdoor patio area with three pool tables, a dart board and a second bar for busy nights. The bartenders, while friendly, are also known for skipping what they consider to be bad songs that are chosen on the jukebox, so choose wisely.

Paul’s can be many things, depending on when you go. It stays chill during the day, with just the locals and regulars watching sports and shooting pool, shooting the shit with some of the best bartenders around, drinking cocktails and Pabsts in cans.
