In a spacious setting peppered with Ireland-style décor -- from a St. Patrick's Day countdown clock to a photo of Archie Bunker (a.k.a. Irish-American icon Carol O'Connor) -- Pat Murphy's pours a host of Emerald Isle whiskeys and beers to youngish lads and lassies looking for a little luck of their own. And while the grill doesn't see too much action, a well-poured Guinness fills the belly nicely, giving added courage for those playing Texas Hold'em on Wednesdays and Saturdays, the singers attempting that pesky high note on karaoke nights, or pool sharks attempting a perfect pocket shot on the joint's many billiards tables.
