Along a desolate stretch of Seventh Street on the East Side of Saint Paul, when you see the smoke wafting into the air from Pastor Hamilton’s curbside grill, you know you best stop. Pastor Luches Hamilton, who originally hails from Arkansas, is a master of the grill, with slick, lacquered ribs possessing just the right balance of sweetness and spice. Other menu highlights include the beef brisket and perfectly crisp-on-the-outside/juicy-on-the-inside chicken wings. Pastor Hamilton’s warm and friendly demeanor is another big draw. Also offering catering and jars of their famous sauce to-go, a meal here is not just delicious; it's also for a good cause, with proceeds benefiting the Youth College Fund.
