Description

It was the delicious gnocchi that got us going back again and again to this tucked-away downtown restaurant. Light and fluffy, like eating a cloud that's been tossed in fennel and sausage-perfect. The Pasta Carbonara is the best we've had this side of Jersey, and little details like the roasted red pepper that comes with the Sopresatta Panini make this a destination worth returning to. PastaBAR's Caprese Salad is made fresh with Buffalo Mozzarella, basil pesto, heirloom tomatoes, and anchovies, and is best eaten Italian style: after your pasta, that is. Whatever order you eat your food in, at PastaBAR it's always delicious.
